THE DEVIL’S MISTRESS

Virginia 1705

Darkness has come to the town of Blackfriar. The beloved millwright, John Ashford, has been poisoned. His daughter, Isabella, stands trial for murder. After visiting the local enchantress for a simple love spell, her life is beset by catastrophe. Her father turns up dead. Her sadistic fiance spurns her. Now in shackles, Isabella faces torture and death. Her only friend, the enchantress. The old crone offers Isabella a new choice: continue to suffer at the hands of her tormentors, or become the very thing they fear.

THE AESCHYLUS

Two hundred and fifty oil workers vanish from the offshore Aeschylus drilling platform without a trace. Production stops. Communications cease. The Valley Oil corporation finds itself on the brink of disaster and prepares to send an investigative team deep into the South Atlantic. The board hires Black Shadow, the world’s most notorious mercenary conglomerate, to lead the charge.

Team leader Mason Bruhbaker expects a standard search and rescue mission. What he finds instead rattles his very sanity. The platform is covered with a massive, tentacle-like fungus, and the missing workers are nowhere to be found. His only clue: a nearby research base dating back to the Second World War.  The base not only holds the key to the missing workers, but a terrifying secret that could very well threaten humanity itself.
